April 4 and 5 - Game Changer Business Series - Decoding Company Financial Statements for Non-Accountants
Regardless of the industry or company, financial statements help leaders assess profitability, liquidity, solvency, and financial health. This two-day course will help non-accountants decode financial statements effortlessly, harness strategic insights from them, and apply analytical techniques to guide business decisions. Formal accounting experience is optional to excel in this course.
Enrol in this two-day course and learn to:
- Define critical financial statements (including the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows).
- Identify the purpose of each financial statement in communicating core business results and assessing financial health.
- Calculate common financial ratios (e.g., liquidity, profitability, solvency, and shareholder return) to evaluate a company’s financial performance.
- Explain fundamental accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, cash flow, and depreciation.
- Identify warning signs within financial statements for potential financial challenges.
- Use various analysis techniques to compare financial data over time and against industry benchmarks.
- Explain the uses and limitations of financial statement analysis.
