Change Day - Community Health Fair
Engaging booths, motivating guest speakers, fun prizes to win and a healthy snack to sample will make this event fun for all ages. Special Guest speakers include Dr. Yvette Lu, a family physician in Cloverdale and a medical expert for Breakfast Television on CityTV who will be speaking on finding balance and managing stress. 2012 Olympic silver medalist and world champion rower Darcy Marquardt will be speaking on her experience of overcoming the obstacles that challenged her athletic goals. And Preet Marwaha, whose life was changed when he completely changed his way of thinking about food, will be speaking about healthy cooking.
Change Day BC is being coordinated by the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council and partners like the Surrey-North Delta Division of Family Practice, who believe that British Columbia’s health, community and social care systems are powered by the creativity, passion and commitment of the entire community.
