Immigrant Entrepreneur & Small Business Fair
The 2nd annual Immigrant Entrepreneur & Small Business Fair at SFU's Surrey Campus on Friday October 27, 2017 (new date) will bring together knowledgeable business professionals, entrepreneurs and small business owners as they share their challenges, triumphs and words of inspiration to start and grow a business in Canada. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in these activities: - Featured Panel Discussion - 3 successful entrepreneurs who were once new to Canada will share their challenges, triumphs and words of encouragement for aspiring immigrant entrepreneurs. -Immigrant Entrepreneur Grant for 2017 – 3 winners of the $1000 entrepreneur grant will be announced! Event participants can discuss with small business/start-ups owners and get inspired by their business ideas and implementation plan. -Exhibitor Booths - where sponsor organizations showcase their business and self-employment services which are available to assist in aspiring entrepreneurs’ journey to become successful business owners.
