Beginning with Step 3 of the provincial government?s BC?s Restart Plan, which started July 1st, employers are no longer required to maintain a COVID-19 Safety Plan, and will instead transition to communicable disease prevention plans. Chris Back, Director of OHS Consultation and Education Services for WorkSafeBC, will join us to discuss the fundamental components of communicable disease prevention (CDP) and share information and resources to support employers in developing their CDP plans. What do you as employers and employees need to know about workplace health and safety as we move through Step 3 and 4? How do you apply for reimbursement of paid COVID-related sick time?
