Loss Prevention Security Officer Training
OVERVIEW
Loss prevention is the act of reducing theft and shrinkage within a business. Lexxon’s Loss Prevention Security course (LPS) is designed to give the student both the conceptual knowledge and the practical skills required to prevent or minimize business theft.
During this five day course, students will complete practical exercises and receive a Loss Prevention Security Certificate upon successful completion. This course was created by a team of highly experienced and credible instructors within the security and policing industry.
The Loss Prevention Security course topics include:
• The role of the Loss Prevention Security Professional
• Understanding/detecting modern theft techniques
• Practical field exercises
• Surveillance tactics
• Interviewing methods
• Identifying criminal offences
• Search and seizure
• Power of arrest and coordinating with Law Enforcement
