National Day of Romanian Cuisine and Wine

The National Day of Romanian Cuisine and Wine returns for its second edition, bringing the authentic tastes, wines and hospitality of Romania to British Columbia.

Organized by the BC Romanian Canadian Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Consulate General of Romania in Vancouver, the event celebrates Romanian culinary heritage while creating meaningful connections between community members, business leaders and friends of Romania.

Guests will enjoy authentic Romanian dishes, selected Romanian wines and spirits, and a special culinary presentation by Chef Haan Palcu, Top Chef Canada finalist. Inspired by the flavours learned from his Bunica ( Grandma), Chef Haan brings Romanian tradition to the table through a contemporary culinary perspective. More than a tasting event, this is an afternoon of culture, community and connection — from Romania's table to the world.
