Shakti Awards Dinner Gala

The Shakti Awards were founded in 2000 to recognize and honour women who have displayed Shakti - Strength and Energy, in their community, locally and/or globally. The awards recognize women who have exemplified strength in six categories, Academic, Artistic, Entrepreneurial, Sports, Public Service and Resilience. The society is run by Sonia Andhi, and is focused on empowering women, children and families by providing a holistic approach to community service.
