Over a 25 year career\, he has held various roles in both the public and private sectors\, including Vice President of a national public relations agency with a practice focusing on risk management and corporate responsibility\; Deputy Director of the Liu Institute\, an international relations think-tank situated at UBC\; and policy advisor and communications director to former Fisheries and Environment Minister David Anderson\, PC MP.
