After graduating from the Art Institute of Vancouver\, he spent 5 years in the video game industry. During the recession of 2010\, he lost his job\, which turned out to be the biggest blessing in disguise. Marco decided it was time to use his voice to make a positive impact on the world\, so he built his own brand as a professional speaker and entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur\, he has remained focused on social impact\, keeping a philanthropic approach to the work that he does. Some of his most memorable talks include TEDxStanleyPark\, The United Way as an impact speaker and The Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Throughout his life\, Marco has also been involved with a number of organizations as a spokesperson\, helping to spread advocacy for persons with disabilities across Canada.\n\n\n\nGwen Dimen\, BBA\, CPHR\, Employment Advisor\, Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR)\n\n\n\nGwen Dimen has over eight years of experience in Human Resources\, working in the public and private sectors.  She attended the University of Regina and has a B.B.A. with a specialization in Human Resource Management and a C.P.H.R. designation.  In her current role as an Employment Advisor\, she oversees the area of Diversity and Inclusion at the Vancouver Airport Authority. Her job allows her to combine personal and professional passions. She finds careers with the Airport Authority are varied and challenging and she works to promote opportunities to all members of society. Outside of work Gwen lives in Vancouver with her husband Jeff and their one-year old daughter Anika. As part of her role\, she works on data collection apps for Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Amelia graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Geography and a Certificate in Spatial Information Systems. In her spare time\, she likes to work on crafts and enjoys playing computer games.
