With over 450 attendees and 22 media articles published\, it achieved IMDb-qualifying status in its first year.\n\n\n\nThe 2025 edition promises to be even bigger\, showcasing 38 Canadian films (with 31 from British Columbia)\, 53.7% female directors\, and 66.7% BIPOC filmmakers. With feature films\, shorts\, workshops\, and panel discussions\, the festival continues to empower emerging talent\, engage local communities\, and champion inclusive storytelling on a global stage.
