6:10 - 7:30 Questions for Candidates
7:30 - 7:50 Self Advocate Speeches
7:50 - 8:30 Mingle with Refreshments
Each candidate will be asked the same question, have 2 minutes to answer, and need to stay on their own platform. This event is for the wider community. The questions are not disability focused. Questions will be focused on housing, affordability, health, public safety, and transportation. These events are well attended, generally seeing over 100 people, with local media.
