February 17, 2027 - How to Build Your Own AI Assistant
Take the leap from understanding AI to building customized tools that automate routine workloads. In this interactive workshop, participants will create a working Custom GPT or Gemini Gem tailored to a recurring business task using their own digital reference materials. After a quick refresher on prompting fundamentals, attendees will spend most of the session building, testing, and refining a reusable assistant to draft proposals, respond to common client FAQs, or generate consistent marketing content.
Participants will learn to
- Construct and deploy a working Custom GPT or Gemini Gem designed for a specific, repetitive business task.
- Select, clean, and structure existing business materials such as brand guides, sample emails, and FAQs into effective context files.
- Create tailored instruction sets to ensure AI-generated outputs consistently reflect your brand's tone, style, and quality standards.
- Walk away with a customized workflow asset that eliminates hours of routine administrative drafting.
Ece Boz Fulton, a Certified AI Consultant and Founder of Lighthouse AI, will facilitate this session.
IMPORTANT:
This workshop is not designed for AI agents, database creation, technical automations, one-time projects, or tasks performed only occasionally.
Participants should choose work they complete regularly and for which they already have examples of strong past output.
Participants must bring:
- A laptop
- A direct OpenAI account with ChatGPT Plus or higher, or a Google account with access to Gemini Gems
- An account that is fully set up, signed in, and ready to use before the workshop
- A clear idea for one repetitive task they want to improve
- Two or three examples showing their preferred tone, style, structure, or output
- Any supporting instructions, FAQs, service information, or reference materials needed for the assistant
- All materials must be digitized and ready to upload before the session.
Accounts provided through third-party services that bundle access to multiple AI models cannot be used for this workshop because they may not support Custom GPTs or Gemini Gems. There will not be enough time during the session to create accounts, resolve login problems, or prepare participants’ materials.
Please do not bring personal information, client data, confidential documents, or other sensitive materials.
