March 12, 2026 - EmpowerHer in Business: Women's Personal Safety Workshop + Networking
Empowered women are confident women, and empowerment begins with knowledge, awareness, and connection.
Join us for an engaging and practical evening designed specifically for businesswomen, featuring presentations and hands-on women’s personal safety training delivered by female Surrey Police Service officer volunteers through their EmpowerHer initiative. This interactive session will provide real-world strategies to enhance personal safety, situational awareness, prevention, and confidence - both in professional and everyday settings.
The evening also offers the opportunity to connect with fellow women in a relaxed setting while enjoying appetizers and refreshments. Whether you’re growing a business, leading a team, or navigating your career, this event is about strengthening confidence, building community, and supporting one another.
You’ll leave informed, empowered, and better equipped - because when women feel safe, they lead with confidence.
Event Notes:
- This event features hands-on safety training that will be carried out with a partner. You may wish to register with someone you are comfortable with.
- You are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic attire.
- Open to women-identifying individuals ages 16+
