Surrey Newcomer Fair
Looking for a fun way to practice your English in the community?
This #WelcomingWeek2025, come to the Surrey Newcomer Fair — a free, outdoor event, hosted by the Surrey Local Immigration Partnership (LIP)!
Newcomers get to connect with local services and enjoy fun activities, all while using their English skills in real-life situations. You’ll also have the chance to get a free professional headshot and one-on-one support with your resumé!
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, between 12 to 5 pm, come to the Surrey Civic Plaza (13450 104 Avenue, Surrey, BC) to:
- Talk to service providers in the community
- Get one-on-one advice on your resumé
- Connect with other newcomers and your community
- Get a professional headshot
- Play games, win prizes and more!
